Summary: Dominic, the front desk night staff was absolutely amazing. Help me through this trip. Along with helping me get a cab transfer from Lameria airport to the hotel late at night. He spoke very good English and Italian, which was very helpful on my side. We arrived late and he had made arrangements for sandwiches in our refrigerator which most Hotels will not do that. The daytime front desk was great too. Giovanni, the breakfast server was amazing. On another note, breakfast was great, the Cook does amazing job on the pastries and sandwiches, etc.. but when it comes to cooking eggs, that’s a different story. If you want eggs over easy, you’re not gonna get them, over hard and scramble is her specialty, still good. Personally, I think she was pissed off at me as my eggs were chopped up after the first time I ask nicely for over easy. This will never be acceptable the serving chopped up eggs, in any other place She always looks miserable, Beautiful new hotel. I highly recommend this place as it walking distance to the main Tropea Centro and parking at the hotel is free. Big bonus

Summary: All the employees were exceptional! The breakfast was amazing and caters to preparing your food. The pool was refreshing and cleaned daily. The staff go out of their way to accommodate the client. So helpful in every way. The premises were clean and it is obvious how hard the staff works. A truly dedicated team.
We regret not booking more time at this hotel.

Summary: Fantastic hotel and staff. Clean and tidy all over, great breakfast. Minibar and pool bar had prizes that actually invites you to use it, really nice! A special thanks to Domenico and Giovanni!

Summary: Very much enjoyed our stay at this small, 10 room boutique hotel. We were there for a two night stay mid week in July - hotel seemed about half full and we had the pool to ourselves. A couple major things to note here: Breakfast was INCREDIBLE! Particularly for Italian standards, which let's face it, are not very high. Everything was home made - including the croissants and baked goods - and an omelette and fresh squeezed OJ were available on request at no extra cost. Seriously a great amenity that we had forgotten about since our stays back in the Dolomites. Pool was also very enjoyable with assigned loungers from our room for the duration of the stay. Staff was great (Thanks Dominico!) and there's free on site parking in a garage underneath the hotel, which was super convenient. Room decor was not exactly our style, but the room was superbly clean and AC was crisp and cold. Easy walk to town (no sidewalks so be careful!). Made for a great base to explore Tropea and could easily see staying longer to explore more spots on the coast. Overall a great experience!

Summary: We had a very pleasant stay. The welcome was warm, and all the staff, both at the reception and during breakfast, were genuinely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the pool was a nice bonus.
The only downside was the walk to the city centre. There is no sidewalk for part of the route, so you have to walk on the road.

Summary: From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Their warmth and hospitality made all the difference and created such a relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay.
The hotel itself was spotless—without question one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. Every area was impeccably maintained, and it was clear that great pride is taken in keeping the property in perfect condition.
The breakfast deserves special recognition. It was, without exaggeration, the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. The quality, freshness, and variety were outstanding, and it quickly became one of the highlights of each morning.
The pool was also a wonderful addition. It was peaceful, beautifully maintained, and the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality, immaculate accommodations, and an unforgettable experience.

Summary: We just completed a lovely 9 night stay at the Sui Generis. Can't say enough about the wonderful staff, Domenico was such a pleasure and so helpful as was Giovanni at the pool and breakfast. The female staff at desk were lovely as well (sorry that I did not learn their names) as well as the wonderful cleaning staff. The pool and breakfast were both perfect 👌. Something new on the menu every day! The hotel is so conveniently located to both the train station and the old town. Easy to navigate without a car. Would love to return one day. Can not recommend this lovely hotel enough. Thanks Sui Generis

Summary: We loved our stay! DOMINICO was very hospitable at the front desk and super friendly.
The room was always clean and equiped with everything we needed.
The hotel was in walking distance to the main centre which was so convenient for us. THE BREAKY WAS FANTASTIC. Everything home made by the chef. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Tropea!
